Open Letters: Christian Ozera (The Vampire Academy Series)

Thursday, January 14, 2016

Dear Mr. Ozera,

I sent a letter to your significant other, Her Highness and it got cut short by her letter interceptors. Could you maybe, bring this to her attention. I had some important matters to discuss with her. Thank you in advance.

Now I have some things to discuss with you. Things to commend you on and things to scold you about. First off, Props to you for putting up with everyone's (at the Academy) crap. All the low and potentially dangerous expectations everyone had of you. How they all thought you'd turn yourself into a Strigoi like your parents. It must've been terrible. And what I thought was even more sickening was that the adults didn't do anything about it. Second, when you lit Ralf Sarcozy on fire during class for degrading Rose. You may have gotten disapproving looks from your teacher and classmates, but you had my approval. Your protective nature (even though you deny it, you are protective of Rose) is one of the things I admire about you.

Now for the scolding. Do you remember that time you went on a search and rescue mission with Rose to find Eddie, Mia, and Mason who fled the Ski Resort to destroy the Strigoi hiding out in Spokane, Washington? I understand that you and Rose had to do something. What I don't understand is why you didn't use your magic to your advantage the minute you got caught? The Strigoi don't have magic. You could have gotten yourselves out of there if you had just turned them into human (or rather Strigoi) torches, you could've all came out of it alive if not unscathed and been on your merry way back to the resort.
This is just some of what I wanted to tell you.

P.S- The dude in the picture is Dom Sherwood. He played Christian in the movie. Now he plays Jace in the Shadowhunters TV show.
