Saturday, October 31, 2015

So. It's that time of the year again! The great national holiday that is Halloween. That one time of the year when you could be whoever you want for one night. In this post I'll be recommending a few booms that'll get you into the Halloween spirit, ones that'll keep you at the edge of your seat and give you the chills.

Picture

#1 Rooms by Lauren Oliver: Creepy story about a family moving into a house inhabited by ghosts.

#2 Bitten by R.L Stine: Weird and classically cheesy story about vampires and two sisters

#3 Sea of Shadows by Kelley Armstrong: Spooky story about two sisters that have to protect their province from spirits that haven't yet found peace.

#4 Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs: Scary story about a boy that follows clues that leads him to an abandoned orphanage.

#5 Hollow City by Ransom Riggs: The peculiar children escape from an army of deadly monsters.

#6 Library of Souls by Ransom Riggs: More peculiar children!

#7 Any of Edgar Allan Poe's pieces (really): I mean really, every Edgar Allan Poe piece that I've read are either creepy, have a spooky element, or are straight up scary. Perfect for Halloween!

There you go! That's my list of spooky Halloween recommendations! Enjoy!
