Character Match-Making: Celaena Sardothien + Ezio Auditore da Firenze

Okay, you may or may not recognize Celaena's name because you simply might have not read the Throne of Glass books, but Ezio you couldn't possibly come across unless you've played Assassin's Creed. Yes, it's a video game. In fact, there's a whole series of Assassin's Creeds, but Ezio is a character in four of the I don't know how many of them there are now games. You could be thinking, Islam, what could these two characters from two completely different entertainment mediums possibly have in common? Well, I'll tell you:
This is definitely the number one reason I chose to match the two. Celaena Sardothien is the most fearsome assassin in all of Adarlan, while Ezio isn't the most feared, he is definitely one of the most notorious assassins in late 1400 Italy. Now, I know that they have to share more than just their career type and aspirations to be compatible, and they do. Oh do they.

If you've read Throne of Glass, then you know exactly what I mean. It's a little harder to tell with Ezio though, considering his video game character. However, there is some dialogue that passes between Ezio and his brother at the very beginning of the game (Assassin's Creed II) that conveys just how immature an assassin (or rather, an aspiring assassin, at the time) can be.
On Celaena's end, this was much more evident in Crown of Midnight than it was in Throne of Glass. Although, ToG did have some notable flick-switch scenes. I remember this one scene in ToG where Celaena was taking an afternoon stroll with her friend Nehemia, when two of the meaner champions Cain and his cohort (I forgot his name, I think the first letter was V) began taunting Celaena. She didn't stand for their proverbial garbage. One minute she was laughing and conversing with Nehemia, the next she was flinging Cain's friend across the floor. The two met again for combat on the day of the last duels and it was not pretty. Ezio on the other hand, had an encounter with some self-important (and apparently, also socially important) dude and his followers. Ezio and his friends starting throwing punches after he (Ezio) laughingly provoked the guy. It was all very amusing.
This one really just plays off the previous similarity. But I guess what I really mean is that both Ezio and Celaena are always on high-alert. You couldn't catch either of them off guard (well) even if wanted to.

That's about all I have for Celaena Sardothien and Ezio Auditore, but I think its enough to match them. They're both very interesting characters, and they'll do well for each other. Ezio will help Celaena restore Terrasen, and Celaena aid Ezio in his quest to end the Knights Templar. Together, they'll conquer the world!
